One Killed, 3 Hurt in Cheyenne Crash

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP)-- One Cheyenne man was killed and three injured Monday night when the car in which they were riding slammed into four guard posts in front of a construction company here.

Killed was Eloy Fresquez, 21. Hospitalized with injuries were the driver, Palmer Jaramillo, and two other passengers, Billy Richards and Christopher Nunez.

A spokesman for the construction company was the first to arrive at the scene and he said that two of the cement guard posts were knocked down by the impact.

The death pushed Wyoming's 1973 traffic toll to 52, compared with 69 through June 5 last year.
