Obituary for Glenn Wayne Tanner

Glenn Wayne Tanner, 62, died June 23, 2014 in Cheyenne.

He was born on October 16, 1951 to Gordon and Elsie Marie (Peterson) Tanner in Riverton, Wyoming. He graduated from East High School in 1970 and joined the United States Air Force. His military service moved him several places before he returned to Cheyenne in 2000 from Roswell, New Mexico. On December 25, 2013 he married Rachel Shubeck. He collected Furbees and “Bubble” Heads, and was also an avid collector of electronics. He also enjoyed building models. He was a dedicated supporter of the military and veterans.

He is survived by his wife; son Adam Tanner; daughter Sunie Reynolds; two grandchildren; brother Tom Tanner; and sister Susan Paige.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Glenn will be interred in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Lander, Wyoming at a later date.
